| Haha!! Alrighty then, by popular request, I shall update. The college stuff if going well. I got accepted to Northland College, tiny little "environmental liberal arts" up in Wisconsin on the boundary waters, and I got $7000 a year to go there. Hey, at least someone wants me! :D I'm working on audition materials right now, the Weber Concertino, melodic minor scales, and etude 15 from Rose 32. Good stuff wot! >.< Anyhoo, I started lessons with Jack Graham again (the clarinet professor at UNI). But, he's getting to be an old fart now, so he's passing me off to study with Jason Weinberger (conductor of Waterloo/Cedar Falls symphony, performance clarinetist, and adjunt professor of clarinet at UNI). Jack said he was doing this on the premis that he tends to teach more of the mechanics and Jason teaches more the music, which may be what is best for me. We'll find out, I have my first lesson with Jason on the 9th. Also, exciting news, Jason is adding a handful of winds to Northern Iowa Youth Orchestra (a sort of community honors orchestra for high schoolers, which he conducts as well). He said I would be the clarinet player for it. Heh, yet another extracurricular musical activity to add to my resume. Yeah, well, looks like I'm earning a name for myself in the UNI music department. Maybe Jack will convince me to go there yet.
So there's me, the band nerd for ye, I'll update sometime later and talk about everything else. | | |

| TALLY HO WOT!!! Well, I'm quite better now I think. I really just wanted to show you a picture of my favorite orc  . Anyways, I filled out 7 college applications last weekend and I got my first pay check today! Did I mention that I work at a movie theater and unlimited movies free for one friend and myself??!!
